This Sunday The King Street Precinct sees the opening of the re-imagined Tapas and Raw Bar - ‘Heno & Rey’
The venue looks to invigorate the dining options in The King Street Precinct with authentic Spanish inspired flavours, brought to life with West Australian produce.
Restaurant and Bar Director, Andrew McGie, has a clear and colourful vision for the fresh new space and is excited about opening the doors to Perthites who are passionate about food. “Heno & Rey will be buzzing, vibrant and colourful and will carry the true integrity in assembly and delivery of the tapas plates we bring to our guests,” Andrew comments.
Home-made sparkling Sangria, served on-tap, is just one of the features that ‘foodies’ can look forward to at Heno & Rey. Price point is yet another draw card with all dishes (bar one) being under $20.00. The spectacular exception is speciality dish Jammon Iberico De Bellota, which Director Andrew recommends as a must-have dish to truly get a taste for Spain.
Heno & Rey is located on the corner of King and Hay Street, adjacent to Edwardian darling of The King Street Precinct, His Majesty’s Theatre; making it the perfect pre-show dinner and drinks locale. The shared style of tapas dining ensures that groups attending the ballet or enjoying the Opera can dine before a show and can delight in a nightcap after.
